Q: What, exactly, do you do?
A: With Crawford Building Consultants, we make change easy by being a one-stop building and expansion shop. We help small to medium-sized companies grow by designing structures that meet their current and future needs. We manage the design and construction programs including the up-front building layouts, design criteria, budgets, and schedules that our clients envision, ensuring a successful occupancy by the client for many years to come.
Q: I don’t know much about your skills and services. How do I know you’ll be able to help me?
A: Our specialty is to help small companies visualize their expansions and manufacturing needs by helpingthem to define their requirements for today and the future.
The first consultation to review the project requirements is always free. We communicate about your projecton a regular basis throughout the process, ensuring that your goals and expectations are met.
Q: What are your qualifications and background?
A: Dick Crawford, the President, has more than 47 extensive years of experience as a project manager, more than 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry as an owner’s representative, 6 years as a building contractor manager, and 25 years as a project manager and building consultant. Dick is an expert at delivering what the client wants, forecasting for future needs and delivering completed projects on-budget and on-time – every time.
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Since 1988.
Q: Can smaller companies afford your services?
A: Most of our clients are small to medium companies who are in very competitive markets. Our operational process encourages efficiencies, allowing us to offer affordable rates that fit the tight budgets of growing companies.
Q: What kinds of things would you do to keep my costs lower than what another company might charge?
A: We have developed our own management approach to building projects which we call the “Nine-Step Crawford Method for Building Projects”. It is a unique management systems approach, honed over more than 150 complex projects, that removes many of the inefficiencies common in most project management methods and guarantees project success and customer satisfaction. Additionally, a principal of the company is involved in every project, ensuring adherence to our three-part goal of shorter process time, lower costs always on-budget, and better designs that customers love.
